I met Sarah and Tim for the first time a few years ago when I was photographing another wedding in Margaret River — we’d all ended up staying at the same enormous, red straw-bale house in the forest over the weekend and got to chatting about our mutual love of hiking and cameras. It was a lovely surprise when they got in touch a few years later with some exciting news of their own: they were planning on tying the knot soon, and wanted to have me along as their wedding photographer!
The day kicked off with preparations at the Alex Hotel in Perth, followed by a laneway first look, before heading upstairs to the rooftop for an intimate ceremony with their nearest and dearest. Sarah and Tim walked each other down the aisle (YES!), before exchanging vows and enjoying afternoon tea with their guests. We explored the back streets of North Perth together for their portraits, before heading into the city to the Flour Factory for their reception, complete with live music, fantastic food, and killer dance moves.
Sarah and Tim, thank you so much for inviting me to be part of your wedding, it was wonderful spending the day with you both.
